FAMILY BUSINESS & YOUNG EXECUTIVES COUNCILS

Both the Family Business and the Young Executives Council meetings were well-attended, and a few new faces, as well.Both councils discussed plans for their session at the 2011 Annual Meeting. It was decided that the Family Business Council would hold a joint session with the Young Executives Council. The two groups combined sessions last year and it worked out very well. The committees have scheduled Greg McCann, a business consultant, researcher, author and expert in family business, as the speaker for this joint session. He is the founder and director of the Family Enterprise Center at Stetson University and is a member of the National Speakers Association.
