Allegheny Petroleum Expands in Midwest

Allegheny Petroleum Products acquired distributor Wilder Oil and its 200,000-gallon distribution facility in Evansville,Ind.,effective Jan.1.Terms of the sale were not disclosed.The distribution operation gives the company its own footprint in the Midwest,and company vice president James Kudis noted that Allegheny will consider expanding the Wilder Oil business into manufacturing for the Midwest.The company had already expanded its fuel additives capacity in Pennsylvania in November,adding another 350,000 gallons of storage.
