Purpose: This prospective clinical study examined standard wrist magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) examinations and the incremental value of computed tomography (CT) in the diagnosis of Kienbock's disease (KD) with regard to reliability and precision in the different diagnostic steps during diagnostic work-up.
