The due diligence process reminded me that many companies, including ILMA members, typically use communications equipment, such as two-way radios, dispatch radios and security systerns, that require Federal Communications Commission (FCC)) licenses to operate lawfully. I wanted to share with you a recent proposal by the FCC to impose a $294,400 fine on the owner of an aluminum rolling mill for failure to keep in order its FCC licenses.
