New Book on Soil Microbiology

摘要

Excellent scientific results are demonstrated by the Department of Soil Biology at the Soil Science Faculty of Moscow State University, In the last five years, five doctoral dissertations were defended. These works were all really innovatory in soil biology. Not all materials have been yet published as monographs, which is quite explainable in modern conditions. It should be noted that monographs prepared by scientists from the department of soil biology are very useful for pedologists; they not only open new directions in soil biology but also convince soil scientists to revise traditional concepts of the role of microorganisms in soils.
