Colombian avocados continue to forge ahead in new markets, with China and Japan becoming the latest countries to give the green light to exports from the Andean nation.Last November, Pacific Fruits became one of two companies to carry out the inaugural shipment to Japan, and a month later it was among a trio of exporters preparing to send the first consignment to China. For commercial director Rodolfo Ahumada, these two markets represent the latest step in its journey to introduce Colombian avocados to the world.
