The New Face(s) of Rhein Chemie

Rhein Chemie's Lubricant Oil Additives (LOA) division has recently undergone a sweeping alteration to support its global growth strategy. In the last 18-24 months, the group has added to its global technical and commercial team with personnel additions at its headquarters in Mannheim, Germany, as well as China, India and the U.S. Other additions include two full time chemists dedicated to work exclusively on REACH-related topics. In January, 2011, the LOA group in North America appointed Michael Assaf, formerly with parent company LANXESS Corporation, to the position of Director, Lubricant Oil Additives. In April, Cathy Novak, a former ILMA President with more than 30 years of experience in the lubricants industry, joined as Senior Technical Sales Representative. In July, Simon Morton, a 20-year industry veteran, came on board as Technical Manager.
