ICIS has given its 2007 Innovation Award in the category of "Innovation with the Greatest Beneficial Environmental Impact" to RohMax Oil Additives,a part of the Specialty Acrylics business unit of Evonik Industries AG.The award recognizes the achievement of a group of scientists and engineers at RohMax who collaborated to mathematically model,develop,and demonstrate the performance,fuel economy,and emissions reduction associated with the use of high viscosity index,shear stable hydraulic fluids.
