A recently-released study by the Government Accountability Office (GAO) adds to the growing number of claims that employers and employees underreport workplace injuries and illnesses. GAO's report also gives credence to a year-long program initiated last October by the Occupational Safety and Health Administration to scrutinize how certain employers keep worker illness and injury records.
