Grupo Simec slates improvements to bar mill

North America - - Long products manufacturer Grupo Simec S.A.B. de C.V. is planning to overhaul its merchant bar mill in northern Mexico, reports the contractor on the project. According to Primetals Technologies, the project at Simec's Mexicali plant entails the replacement of the roughing train and installation of a new finishing and packaging end.
