An interview with Bryan Lask

As part of a series of interviews that I conducted with prominent figures in the eating disorders field, I interviewed Bryan Lask at the British Royal Society of Medicine in London in 2006. Lask, of course, was known for his work with eating disorders in pre-adolescent children at Great Ormond Street Hospital (GOSH) in London. Together with his colleague Rachel Bryant-Waugh, he brought this population to the attention of both the clinical science of eating disorders and the broader public through four editions of a book that was first published in 1993 and the most recent in 2013 (Lask & Bryant-Waugh, 2013) as well as an accessible guide for parents of affected children (Bryant-Waugh & Lask, 2004).
