Indonesia's government is hoping to sign off on the final development plan for the Abadi LNG project this month amid reports that Royal Dutch Shell is looking to exit the scheme. The Anglo-Dutch major has neither confirmed nor denied that it is looking to get out, saying it is still working on advancing the 9.5 million ton/yr project. "Shell is working with the operator Inpex to deliver an investable plan of development for Abadi," a spokesperson said. Shell's recent management day presentation listed Abadi as an option it has for adding to its LNG volumes in the future.
