Expensive REACH Registration Fees Coming

By the time you read this column,the controversial European Union(EU)REACH fees regulation should be published.The regulation sets the fees to be charged by the European Chemicals Agency(ECHA)for its activities under REACH,such as the registration and authorization of dossiers,updating registrations and handling appeals of its regulatory decisions.By now,ILMA members should know that,in order for their products to be manufactured or marketed in the EU,REACH requires chemical substances on their own,in preparations or in articles,to be subject to mandatory registration and/or authorization requirements.
