Oil demand growth likely to pick up: IEA

Global oil demand growth is expected to speed up in the com- ing months on an “improved economic picture”, following the slowest quarterly increase in more than seven years, the IEA said in its latest monthly Oil Market Report (OMR). But the Paris-based energy watchdog said “meeting the expected demand growth is unlikely to be a problem”, as its projected call on Opec crude falls in 2020 compared with this year.
