RBCT July loadings inch lower

Loadings at South Africa’s Richards Bay Coal Terminal (RBCT) eased slightly on the year in July, although exports were frm to key buyer India. RBCT exported 4.86mn t last month, down by 208,000t on the year. Loadings in July tend to be lower than in the rest of the year. July exports have been on average 10.5pc lower than the other 11 months of the year in 2014-18. The only exception was July 2017, when exports were 8.1pc above the average for the year.
