Texas imports record Canadian crude

Texas imported a record amount of Canadian crude in Septem- ber, despite a nationwide drop in US imports from the prior month. Imports of Canadian crude across the US averaged 3.7mn b/d in the month, down by 94,000 b/d, or 2pc, from August and representing the second consecutive decline after hitting a record high of 4.1mn b/d in July.
