India’s IOC raises July petroleum coke prices

Indian state-controlled refner IOC has raised its basic sales price for petroleum coke by up to 13pc from June, following an increase in seaborne prices that was supported by an increase in demand. The increase follows a price hike by private-sector refners, Reliance Industries (RIL) and Nayara Energy, earlier this month. The new IOC prices came into efect on 2 July. The increase follows three consecutive monthly price cuts by IOC at some of its refneries. The company had cut its June prices by up to 9pc from May at its three refneries.
