Shipowner and operator Oldendorff has signed an agreement to deliver 4mn t/yr of thermal coal between Indonesia and Vietnam from 2021. The coal will be shipped to the new Nghi Son 2 power station being built by a joint venture between Japan's Marubeni Corp and Korea Electric Power (Kepco). Oldendorff will cover ocean shipping, transhipment and final delivery to Nghi Son.
