Construction on a cross-border section of the 830,000 b/d Keystone XL crude pipeline from Canada to the US is ahead of schedule, TC Energy said on 1 May. The company reiterated its commitment to the long-de- layed project, despite a major setback last month when a US federal court invalidated a key water crossing permit for the line known as Nationwide Permit 12 (NWP-12).
