Anode coke: Chinese disruptions may reverse falls

The calcined petroleum coke market fell further in most markets over January. But disruptions to Chinese calcined coke supply could boost prices, at least in the near term. Some Chinese calciners are warning buyers that they will need to reduce contracted volumes as far ahead as March as a result of operational difculties stemming from the country's coronavirus health crisis.
