Colombian coal exports to track lower

Colombian coal exports fell on the year for a ffth consecutive month and will likely continue to decline through the remain- der of the year, as the major producers have revised down their 2020 production targets to adjust for weaker demand and prices. Colombian coal exports fell by 2.5mn t on the year to 3.4mn t last month, after falling by 2.7mnt and 2.6mnt on the year to 4.1mnt and 3.6mn t in May and June respectively, ship- ping data show.
