The designed scaled test bench is a simplified setup that enables extensive experiments to be performed while maintaining a similarity to a real elevator as shown in (Figure 3). Two main parts can be identified in the scaled test bench (Figure 3(a)): the aluminum m truss structure itself, where the elevator car guides, the counterweight guides and the machine are connected, and the two moving parts.
