ILMA has been reporting for some time on developments with the National Labor Relations Board (NLRB), including issues with its composition and uncertainty with its authority to do business. As Compoundings went to press, the NLRB consists of Democratic Chairman Mark Pearce, whose term expires in August, and two Democratic recess appointees, Richard Griffin and Sharon Block. The two remaining seats, which should be held by Republicans, have been vacant for some time.
