Nova Scotia to introduce cap and trade legislation in fall 2017

Nova Scotia Environment has reviewed the feedback it has received on a discussion paper it had released in March 2017 and is ready to introduce cap and trade legislation in fall 2017 to limit greenhouse gas emissions. Nova Scotia's cap-and-trade program is being designed as part of the Pan-Canadian Framework on Clean Growth and Climate Change.
