摘要

This paper presents results of an experimental investigation on hybrid beams, consisting of glass fiber reinforced polymer concrete-filled U-shaped pultruded profile constructed as combined tensile reinforcement, permanent formwork and corrosion resistance. A total of six beams were tested, one served as a control and the remaining five were implemented with varing configurations of GFRP composites. Test results show that hybrid beam provides significant increase in flexural capacity but decrease in ductility when compared to control RC beam.
