The Company was established in 1946 when northern Kyushu was the center of the coal mines and the production of coal was urgently needed in Japan.The Company name 'Laboratory' originates in the spirit of the founder who intended to place the foundation of the company not in manufacturing goods,but in developing technology and engineering.The core technology of the Company is related to powder processing systems,such as equipment for measuring the level of piled powders:sounding level meters to find the surface of powders by extending a weight attached to a measuring rope from the ceiling,non-contact level meters using supersonic echo and level meters for molten metal in torpedo cars to transport molten iron from blast furnaces to converters.Customers are distributed as 30.8% in the steel industry,13.1% in electric power,12.2% in the government,11.5% in the cement industry,6.6% in the chemical industry and 25.8% others.
