Synthesis and application of monoazo and disazo dyes based on sulpho substituted aromatic hydroxy carboxylic acids

摘要

This paper reports on the synthesis of a series of monoazo metal complex dyes and disazo dyes based on 3-hydroxy-7-sulpho-2-naphtha!enecarboxylic acid (BON-6-sulphonic acid) and 3-hydroxy-5-su!pho-2-naphthalene-carboxylic acid (BON-8-sulphonic acid).The synthesised dyes show good colour and fastness properties.
