By a special process using foil printing the Pago Variogramm can offer unique decorative effects even for products with a very restricted budget. Thanks to the special form of hot foil printing it is possible to incorporate tiny surface effects in the foil which scatter the light. Depending on the position of the observer and the angle at which the light strikes the surface, different reflections and colours are created similar to those that were previously achievable only with a genuine hologram. In this way it is possible to incorporate colour, movement and relief effects. Using patterned or coloured diffraction foils even more effects can be produced.This effective and yet economical decorative option cannot, in contrast to a genuine hologram, be used to incorporate additional security features.
