For years we've been told that the boom in men's cosmetics has already started,but such wishful thinking has not been reflected in the sales figures.Yet now we seem to be getting there.Whilst previously shampoos,deodorant and creams were presented as unisex products,cosmetics manufacturers - and ingredients suppliers (see COSSMA 9/2004,page 11) - are offering a wider choice especially for men.And with a fair degree of success.
