摘要

Seawater is used as absorption medium to desulfurize during desulfurization process. In this paper, a new type of absorption tower is designed based on the existing flue gas desulfurization system, and the numerical simulation is carried on by CFD method in pursuit of obtaining a small size absorption tower with high desulfurization efficiency. Based on the numerical simulation results, the effects of the mass flow rate, injection speed and spray diameter of seawater on the temperature difference, pressure drop and desulfurization efficiency of absorption tower is analyzed. The work of this paper will provide reference direction for designing absorption tower, and choosing the suitable spray diameter, injected speed, and addition mass of seawater.
