'One voice, one vision' A message for palliative care nursing in Europe

One would imagine that the people who subscribe to the International Journal of Palliative Nursing appreciate the important role that nurses play in the delivery of care to people who have life-limiting disease. By valuing the contribution of the journal to nursing scholarship, they acknowledge the distinct nature of palliative care nursing, its attributes, skills and aptitudes. Certainly, over the past 20 years, we have seen palliative care nursing embedded into the wider discourse of nursing and so, for future generations of nurses, the work of nursing pioneers in the field will be rewarded.
