The double slots Frequency Selective Surface (FSS) design structure (7 × 7) is designed and simulated by using CST Microwave Studio software for 2.4 GHz and 5.2 GHz based on ISM frequency band. The two materials of dielectric substrate which are FR4 board and glass have been used to produce hybrid materials. There are two types of hybrid configurations have been studied in this paper. Real (Re) and Imaginary (Im) component of Equivalent Circuit (EC) or known as resistance and reactance has been modelled based on the permittivity of the ε_1 and the ε_2. EC gives a simple alternative method in FSS analyses which are useful for quickly predicting the performance of FSS. The highest degree of the polynomial that has been used to model the component of EC is 9th degree polynomial by using Matlab software. The modeling can be used to design the advance FSS design structure for similar ISM frequency band.
