Study of a Novel Thermosetting Wood Surface Treatment Agent

摘要

In the present study, we prepared a non-formaldehyde thermosetting wood surface treatment agent. The treatment agent was applied to the poplar veneer and its performance was experimentally investigated as follow. The results showed that the treatment agent make the wood with the performance of the heat curing immediately, and the shear strength and bonding strength can reach up to 2.1 Mpa and 0.8 Mpa, respectively. The treatment agent in the field of environmental protection adhesive has broad application prospects.
