The Nanostructured Coating Based On Carbon And Silver

This paper presents the results of studies of nanostructured coatings based on amorphous carbon with the addition of silver received by pulsed vacuum-arc method. We studied the coating structure by using a high-resolution transmission electron microscopy and energy dispersive X-ray spectroscopy. The results of the coating study show that we have obtained the nanostructured coating which parameters are determined by its thickness. Silver nanoclusters have a crystalline structure. The investigated crystal has a face-centered cubic lattice, its interplanar spacings agree well with the tabular data on silver.
