摘要

The aim of this study is to analyze the influence of wall flexibility and Joule heating on the peristaltic transport of a conducting nanofluid in uniform/non-uniform porous channel. The exact solutions are obtained for stream function and velocity. Further, R-K-Fehlberg integration scheme is applied to solve the energy and concentration equations. Results obtained and discussed for the flow over uniform and non-uniform geometries at different values of relevant parameters. Moreover, the trapping phenomena are investigated with the help of streamlines. Non-uniform geometry parameter, magnetic parameter, and permeability parameter have a strong impact on trapping phenomena. The fluid velocity is high in the diverging channel when compared to the uniform channel, while the situation is reversed for temperature and concentration fields. (C) 2017 Elsevier Ltd.
