The packaging developed and produced by Edelman for Avril Lavigne's fragrance Black Star is printed in a striking pink colour that contrasts well with the strongly reflective black background with its tactile features. There is a silver-coloured punk-type ring fixed to the bottle. The carton was printed by offset on silver foil coated board. Solid white, pink and black were applied over numerous stages and the carton is further decorated in line with partial UV gloss and matt lacquering, supported by a strongly reflective relief embossing with metallic textures, and by the gleaming logo. The inside of the pack is printed with the pink coloured star design.
