RECENT ADVANCES IN MODELLING AND OPTIMIZING COMPLEXSYSTEMS BASED ON INTELLIGENT ALGORITHMS

The paper tries to understand recent research advances in intelligent modeling and optimization of complex systems.Intelligent models have the capability of self-adapting to the changing environment, which may generate effective solutionsfor complex dynamic systems. Some intelligent algorithms are reviewed in this paper to give references for interestedresearchers on how they serve system modeling and optimization. Firstly, critical techniques and significant events in thedevelopment process of complex systems are reviewed. Then classical practical applications of modeling and optimizingcomplex systems over recent years based on several representative intelligent algorithms are introduced and analyzed. Thirdly,the methodology of modeling and optimizing complex systems based on these algorithms are analyzed and compared. Finally,this paper concludes and prospects relevant future work.
