摘要

In the CAD of casting process, using three-dimensional drawing software, the parts solid modeling has became the main method of modem casting process design, and has replaced other measures gradually, which makes casting more closely with the computer together, replacing manpower and personal experience to carry out casting process design conveniently, fast and accurately. The casting process design CAD is an interactive design process and casting process database contains a plenty of categories. The database structure is so complicated that it has to make full use of computer database technology and computer graphics technology, which promotes the integration process of CAD/CAE/CAM in casting process. In the database, not only do a large number of standard data and empirical data need storing to support casting design process, but also the data generated dynamically needs to be stored and repeatedly be modified. In this paper, based on parameter of the casting production, the database was established by analyzing and calculating the data. With that database as back-end database, the casting process database management system was developed by Delphi and SQL server. The system can realize casting process data query, data storage, database maintenance and other functions, which solves the problem of Effective storage and rational utilization of casting process data generated in the CAD of casting process.
