THE STUDY OF RELIABILITY OF DIESEL LOCOMOTIVE ENGINE USING WEIBULL DISTRIBUTION

In general, failures of the system are due to its complexity. Various sub-components are to be considered for the statistical analysis of lifetime of the system. The Weibull distribution is very much used lifetime probability distributions in reliability engineering. Weibull distribution of two parameters represents a decreasing, increasing and constant failure rate. In this study, Weibull distribution having two parameters is to be used to predict the system reliability.
