摘要

To provide with an effective method for non-photorealistic rendering for computer generated images with artistic appearances from 2D images motivates our work in this paper. The methods proposed in this paper are inspired by the technology of LIC rendering algorithm to stimulate fluid artistic effects. As the preprocessing of the LIC convolution, first, image structure vector field is derived from source luminance orthonormal vector sets or from the input image, and using neighbor vectors to improve the weak gradient fields. Further, LIC convolution length is calculated according to the local statistical characteristics. In addition, color transfer algorithm is applied to make the results have the same color characteristics to the reference image. Experimental results show that our methods are effective.
