A Data Visualization Tool for Assisting in Finding Suspicious Network Flow Events

摘要

In this paper we present design and implementation of a data visualization tool for assisting in finding suspicious network events. Advanced network and communication technology innovations make internet services accessible anytime and anywhere. Various and fabulous internet applications have been developed and deployed. Meanwhile, on the other hand, network security problems have been a big threat to internet users. How to provide safe internet access is of great concerns to the future of internet development. In this paper we propose a data visualization tool to help network managers to identify suspicious network flow traffics incoming to or outgoing from the managed networks.
