Analysis of Nitridation Time Impact on Crankshaft Fatigue Strength

摘要

In this paper, the fatigue comparative test of two groups of crankshafts with different length of nitridation time is carried out, and the test results are analyzed. The parent standard deviation test-"F" test shows that there is no effect of the length of nitridation time impact on the uniformity of crankshaft fatigue strength. But it is not sure whether there is the effect of the length of nitridation time impact on the average of crankshaft fatigue limit load by the parent average test-T test. However it can be concluded that the length of nitridation time has little impact on the crankshaft fatigue strength. So the shorter nitridation time process can be used to improve crankshaft production efficiency.
