Analysis of Rock Comprehensive Test Bed with Double Disc Cutters

摘要

Tunnel Boring Machine (TBM) is widely used in underground construction and railway tunnel. Cutter system plays an important role in performance of TBM. The rock breaking mechanism and cutter wear affect on cutter system of TBM and rock breaking efficiency. It is difficult to study rock breaking mechanism in laboratory because of large volume, sky-high cost and super pressure of experimental equipments. In this paper, a rock comprehensive test bed with double disc cutter is designed; the stress, deformation and vibration of this test bed are analyzed. The results show that the stress and deformation of the test bed are less than allowable value; the vibrating frequency of the test bed satisfies the requirements of experiment. These research results are very helpful to understanding the rock breaking mechanism and optimization design of tool system.
