摘要

Mobile Ad hoc NETwork (MANET) is a network with the capability of self-configuring nature and the nodes in the network are changed their locations accordingly. The nodes in the network should have good reachability to improve the performance of the network communication. If the nodes are not reachable, there will be a loss on communications between nodes. Thus the reachability of the nodes of a network does a vital role in MANET communication. Similarly the flow of the packets are based on the path evaluated from the source to destination. This path is not necessary to be similar always. The path from source to destination differs dynamically based on the structure of the network. This paper gives an idea to develop algorithms for intrusion detection using KDD Cup'99 dataset with the knowledge of the dynamic path and reachability of every nodes in the network.
