摘要

The rapid mold heating-cooling technologies have recently been combined with overmolding technologies in applications in order to improve exterior designs. However, flashes occur frequently in mold parting lines. In this study, we investigate the effect of processing conditions on flash generation using injection molding CAE. We found that the phenomenon problems can be caused from structural clamping of moving plate in overmolding machine. The predicted flash shape was compared with experimental result.
