摘要

In the recent decades, exergy analysis has found increasingly widespread acceptance as a useful tool in the design, assessment, optimisation and improvement of energy systems. This paper explores the possibility of reduction in exergy destruction by using Heat pipes in condenser and thus improving the exergtic efficiency a thermal power plant. The detailed explanation of exergy and exergy efficiency of different components of a thermal power plant was presented. Experimental setup and results of steam condenser loaded with heat pipes were presented.
