摘要

Shirodhara involves gravity flow impact of medicinal fluid on the human forehead at a controlled temperature for a prescribed time duration. A simple approximating of the forehead as an isotropic homogeneous elastic plate over an elastic foundation, the displacement and stress variation, and voltage generated on the forehead due to fluid impact is estimated. The deflection response for two different boundary condition of simply supported and fixed-fixed plate on the elastic foundation is presented in this paper.
