Korean Tire-cord major Hyosung increases market-share to 40%

South Korea's Hyosung Advanced Materials Corp. (HAMC) has increased its share of tire cord markets in India, Indonesia, Thailand, and Vietnam to 40% from 22% in 2016, the company announced recently. HAMC linked the progress - including a six-fold rise in its number of major customer-companies to 12 - to its provision of products tailored to local needs as well as technical know-how.
