The more than three year old Brexit saga is not yet fully settled, the long and quite belligerent US versus China trade war also keeps going on and the world economy increasingly tends just to stagger along instead of growing strongly. For the majority of companies and their managers the overall picture is looking bleak. Now, it gets even worse – mainly for those dealing in metals: The London Metal Exchange (LME), the worlds oldest as well as most important metal market, is increasing its fees and charges.
