In several markets, especially in Japan, there are quite demanding requirements regarding purity, cleanliness and overall quality of 50 lbs aluminium ingots. In the younger past the requirement to avoid black traces and impurities on the ingot surface arise more and more often. Superficial impurities are mostly caused by organic release agents or their condensates.
